Teen Stress Mastery Group-Starting September! This time of year can create stress for many students. Start them off right with stress management skills in a fun and interactive group.
This stress and anxiety management group is designed to explore the common causes and triggers of stress and anxiety. Through the use of psycho-educational skill building exercises, participants will learn to use mindfulness techniques and relaxation strategies to overcome the debilitating effects of stress induced anxiety.
The use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) allows each participant to identify what their stress triggers are and to enable them to properly handle stress and anxiety in their daily lives.
Upon completion of the sessions, each member of the Stress Mastery Group should leave with a large tool box of skills to aid them in combating stress and anxiety.
