“Just knowing you’re not alone is often enough to kindle hope amid tragic circumstances.”*
In honor of National Recovery Month, BBHW is starting a unique group.
“Stand Strong Together” is a therapist run group designed for those who are abstaining from alcohol and/or drugs and will focus on education, group support, skill building, relapse prevention and humor.
We will seek to understand how your use of chemicals started, what your triggers are, what the payoffs were, how to release the past and to develop a life worth living. The group will address interpersonal skills, family of origin issues, relationships and deeper issues that may not be appropriate for other settings.
This can be a nice adjunct to 12 step support groups but 12 step attendance is NOT required.
Insurance is accepted.
Fridays from 5:o0 to 7:30 pm
This group begins October 3, 2014 and is ongoing.
