Caring for the Caregiver: Five Ways to Care for Yourself

Join Barrington Behavioral Health & Wellness at the ElderwerksAging Better Expo August 9, 2023, at the Stonegate Conference Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Cori Moschberger, Clinical Coordinator of Senior Services, will present; “Caring for the Caregiver: Five Ways to Care for Yourself”. The hour long presentation is designed to provide information and resources to help in-home family caregivers, those who provide personal care, and those who assist others with health care. Caregivers who will benefit from this session include family caregivers of elders, such as spouses caring for spouses and adult children caring for aging parents, and those who care for adults with disabilities. Even professional, licensed, caregivers may find some useful information in Cori’s presentation. The presentation begins at 2:30 p.m. sharp!

Admission to the Elderwerks Aging Bettter Expo is free and the fun and educational Expo includes speakers, resource booths and a free lunch for the first 250 registrants. The expo is in-person and will also be live-streamed and will include valuable information, educational opportunities, tips on aging, local resources and prizes for registrants and attendees. The resource booth exhibition will include 100 local resources from which you may learn about local home service providers, agencies, senior communities, and benefits.

As Clinical Coordinator of Senior Services, Cori serves Seniors in-home and in residential facilities and is an often requested speaker and educator for senior and caregiver conferences.
