Callie Weinberg counsels individuals and families, using a clinical approach that includes mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. She has assisted clients with diverse concerns such as stress management, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, grief/loss, substance abuse, and making behavioral changes. Callie also has extensive experience working with employees who are trying to manage a healthy work-life balance.
She has a particular passion for working with individuals and families that are impacted by addiction. As a certified Problem and Compulsive Gambling Counselor and Substance Abuse Professional, Callie utilizes evidence based approaches to treat addiction, while also bring the flexibility needed to meet clients where they are at in their readiness to change.
Callie believes that each person possesses resources within themselves in order to create the change they want and that counseling can offer tools for people who are motivated to moving closer to their desired goals, emotional healing, happiness, and well-being. Callie’s approach to therapy is collaborative, helping individuals and families improve their lives by focusing on their unique values and goals. She feels that building a safe and trusted environment is essential in helping clients explore life’s challenges and move towards positive change.
Callie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver.
