James has been working in the field of mental health since 2008. He received his Masters Degree in Education Community Counseling from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a member of the American Counseling Association. James clinical focus is with young adults, adults, couples, and seniors.
James works with PTSD clients including returning soldiers, all first responders, he belongs to group called give an hour, where he donates his time to soldiers and their families. James is a certified hypnotherapist specializing in cessation of smoking, weight loss, and anxiety. James also addresses anxiety, stress, depression, codependency.
James is married and has two adult children, and three grandchildren. He is an avid wood carver competing in art shows around the country. He is described as a person who tells it like it is and gets results for his patients.
