Dr. Jennifer Wilson-Binotti
Doctor of Psychology – Neuropsychologist
Dr. Jennifer Wilson-Binotti is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Wilson-Binotti is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and National Louis University where she earned a Master’s degree in Written Communications before pursuing a career in clinical psychology. Her primary focus is on adult and geriatric psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
With 3 years additional training in neuropsychology, Dr. Wilson-Binotti became a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology in 2015. In this capacity, she was previously on medical staff at Edward, Linden Oaks, Adventist Hinsdale and LaGrange, MacNeal and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospitals where she consulted with medical staff on patients’ ability to make decisions, deliriums and dementias, as well as a broad range of psychiatric disorders. In addition, she provided assessment services to 17 retirement, rehabilitation and nursing care facilities in Chicago’s southwest suburbs. She has presented on issues related to dementia, families and caregivers, and has worked with families in transition with a loved one diagnosed with dementia.
In addition to her focus on adult/geriatric neuropsychology, Dr. Wilson-Binotti has experience with prison populations, police psychology, trauma survivors, post-traumatic stress, mood disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, impaired physicians/professionals, children and adolescents, and assessment of sexual offenders for risk of re-offending.
Dr. Wilson-Binotti is highly skilled, deeply compassionate, and presents a very comfortable atmosphere in which to assess individuals. She has the ability to quickly allow people to feel at ease in an otherwise stressful and challenging situation: the testing milieu. This allows individuals to present their best to obtain the most accurate results for correct clinical diagnoses.
