Brittany Salvador is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been in the field since 2009 in a variety of settings including community, private practice, institutions, and hospitals. She received her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University in 2015.
Brittany strives to help clients develop the self-awareness and coping skills to manage problems as they arise. She utilizes mindfulness and acceptance strategies as well as cognitive behavioral skills to assist clients in making positive changes. She believes that with skills and support, problems can become manageable. Brittany feels that counseling is a very personal journey and is dedicated to helping clients with dignity and respect.
Brittany brings her expertise in mood disorders such as Bipolar disorder, Depression, and Anxiety to the practice. Additionally, she specializes in working with those who identify with the LGBT community. She also has experience counseling clients with relationship problems, chronic illnesses, grief and loss, psychosis, and adjustment to changes in life. She also facilitates a weekly stress and anxiety management group. Brittany works with all ages, individuals, and couples.
